In 2017, Investors Community Bank envisioned a signature building to expand its presence in the Fox Valley, combining a new branch with workspace for local employees. Headquartered in Manitowoc, WI, the bank selected a prime location along Interstate 41 in Grand Chute, WI, after evaluating numerous sites. Developing this previously undeveloped land required close collaboration with local municipalities. The design faced a unique challenge due to the proximity of the iconic Navitus building—the new branch needed to be both distinctive and impactful. After extensive planning and several board meetings, a design was approved. Despite the disruptions of the COVID-19 shutdowns, construction began in early summer 2020. During construction, the acquisition of Investors Community Bank by Nicolet National Bank was announced. Completed in December 2021, the building now serves as a prominent landmark for Nicolet National Bank in the region.
